Q:Do we give free estimates?
A:Yes...although, we will not be able to give you a firm price until we can inspect your system and troubleshoot your problem.  Even then, unknown problems in your well and system can change the scope of work, and the price.  The customer should always feel free to ask any questions about the work,  what is going on, the price, the equipment, or anything else. The more you can learn about your system, the better you will feel.

Q:How do I pay for services?
A: Final payment is due and should always be made upon substantial completion of the work.  A prior down payment may be requested if up front equipment costs are a high percentage of the total job. Personal or bank checks are acceptable, as well as cash.

Q:What if I don't know anything about my water system?
A: You join a large group of people.  Many people know nothing about their water system.  They turn the faucet and water comes out of the tap.
Well Drilling, Pump Systems, and Filter Equipment, involve many interrelated factors and components, and several of them have to be working right for that water to run out of that tap.
Work on these systems should be done by a qualified licensed technician, and they should be happy to explain everything to you.  All of your questions should be answered before you spend your money.  If the people you are talking to don't have the time to explain the work to your satisfaction, they don't deserve your work or your money.

Q: What if I have no water?
A: Causes for a system to not deliver water can be simple or complicated, and can be caused by a single component failure, or can be several contributing factors leading to system failure. A qualified technician, from Alpha Water Systems, with the right diagnostic equipment, will quickly find the problem or narrow the possibilities.

Q:  What if I have poor or changing pressure?
A:  The causes for a loss of pressure can be as simple as cleaning the screen in your faucet, or changing a sediment filter.  The source of the problem may be equipment or well failure.  The fix could be very expensive and therefore demand the services of a qualified licensed technician.  The guess work of a well-intended  neighbor or relative is often wrong, which can lead to a very expensive learning process.  Our properly equipped and experienced service people at Alpha Water Systems  will help you find and solve the problem quickly.

Q:  What if I have a problem with water quality?
A:  Problems with water quality range from simple annoyance to being a contributing factor in major illness and even death.  Few problems you will ever deal with, have that range of potential.  Water quality, therefore, must be taken very seriously.  That said, I'm not personally aware of drilled well water having been listed as the official cause of death in this area.  Only a moderate percentage of drilled wells require filtration at all.
When they do, it is very important to employ a service who is looking out for your best interest.  Many recipients of filtration equipment have unknowingly paid more than necessary to solve a problem, or been scared half to death during a high pressure sales pitch, and that is just wrong!  We will help you access your problem, and choose the right option for you.
Your water may be very different from your neighbors' and therefore, require a different system, or nothing at all.  We will help you through the whole process including testing, system design, equipment options, and installation.  The folks at Alpha Water Systems will help you understand the issues and the equipment.  You do not have to make a hasty choice.  Get your own water test from a lab that does not sell filter equipment.  This puts you in control of your information.  Don't be fooled by the quick test in your sink.
